As Promised...

My princess cut solitaire with the my wedding band/ring guard :) I'm in love!

I am Ecstatic!

I just got word from Edgar via messenger that my wedding ring was delivered yesterday via Fedex to our Leasing Office. He picked it up over his lunch break today. I AM SO FREAKING EXCITED!! I can't wait to go home and see it and try it on. This day CANNOT go fast enough for me-- I WANT TO GO HOME ALREADY! Pictures forthcoming...

Ok, I'm Hooked.

I couldn't put Twilight down today--and I was thinking about it all week while I was at work. I finished it and now I can't wait to start the next book in the series. I'm going out to Barnes and Noble tomorrow because it is within walking distance from our apartment and I am buying the other three books in the series. I want to know what happens...darn you Stephanie Meyer and your star-crossed lovers crap! HAHAHA, I can't get enough of it. I have read some people critiquing her writing style and although I did notice her repition of words, I managed to overlook it based on the content of the book. I was however getting tired of her over usage of the word "chagrin". Other than that I'm going to continue on with the series.

Are any of you going to see the movie on the 21st? I think I will wait until the crowd dies down, and all the teeny-bopper girlies with their wild hormones are out of the movie theater pining over Edward. But I don't know if I'll be able to wait very long. Based off of pictures from the movie that I've seen on the internet, Rob Pattinson and Kristen Stewart seem to have a very strong chemistry--I'm so looking forward to seeing that on screen. I wonder if they are going to work on the making movies of the rest of the series? They'd be complete idiots not to.

YIKES--Steamy!!
Mothers, go lock up your daughters!
Every young hormonal girl is going to want to get "bitten" by a vampire.

Twilight

In light of the movie TWILIGHT coming out, and my love for all things vampire, I decided to purchase the book. I started reading it this weekend. I have only gotten to the 3rd chapter, but I am enjoying the book so much already. It's an easy read and it reminds me of the fiction/fantasy books I used to read when I was in junior high. It will easily take me away to "Forks" (the main location in the book) whenever I need it to. I am quite anxious to see the movie when it comes out. I think they may have hit the jackpot with the actors they cast for the film. Do I have to be at work today? I'd rather be at home in my bed snuggled up reading this book :)

Dawn of a New Day

Barak Obama is officially the 44th president of the United States of America. John McCain bowed out quite gracefully last night, however I was still concerned to hear that everytime he mentioned President Obama's name the crowd booed. In my own opinion, there is much McCain could have said to his crowd, but instead he chose to just put up his hands and quiet them. I am certain that Barack Obama is the right man to lead our country back to dignity. To help the American people back up after our huge fall from grace. President Obama, please bring out troops home. Please help the economy, please help those families who are losing their homes. Please offer more affordable health care to hard working citizens. Please help our education system. Please fund organizations trying to create clean renewable energry. Please help America be respected again. Thank you to the American people for restoring my faith in the democratic system of our country. Thank you for making me feel proud to be an American. Congratulations President Obama, our country is ready for CHANGE.

Si Se Puede!! Yes We Can!!

And then there is Prop 8--on the fence and no decision? I'm so sad. How do we as a nation elect Barack Obama as President and then in California vote to take away someone's civil rights? Yes, you know where I stand on this, I have made it very obvious. I am filled with mixed emotions right now...being as California is the first state ever where voters have been given the chance to prohibit same-sex marriage after it had already been legalized by the California Supreme Court. It is hard to accept that the state of California is about 50-50 on the proposition. If it indeed passes many will be affected by it's outcome.

Day 5 off BC & Happy Halloween!

Day 5 symptoms: Pimple breakouts on both cheeks. :( However, I have felt less bloating in my lower abdomen, which occurred frequently while I was on the pill. I swear I lost some umph in my boobs, but oh well--tis life. Hopefully I'll drop a pound or two as well...HAHAHA.

Happy Halloween to everyone! I love fall--so many wonderful holidays!
I Hope everyone has a SPOOKY Halloween day :D
